Recently emerged needs in the area of regulatory activities and functions require appropriate clarification to enable the efficient and timely entry into force of regulatory measures in Vatican City State.

For these reasons, without prejudice to the provisions of Art. 2 of Law LXXI on the Sources of Law of 1 October 2008, all legislative measures, of whatever nature, are to be considered published at the moment of their posting in the San Damaso Courtyard, at the door of the Post Offices and of the Palace of the Governorate, and on the institutional website of the Vatican City State, regardless of the date of actual publication in the Supplement to the Acta Apostolicae Sedis.

I order that this Legislative Decree shall enter into force immediately and, bearing the seal of the State, be deposited in the Archives of the Laws of Vatican City State, and that the corresponding text be published by posting it in the San Damaso Courtyard, at the door of the Post Offices and of the Palace of the Governorate and on the institutional website of Vatican City State, and subsequently inserted in the Supplement to the Acta Apostolicae Sedis, instructing all those concerned to observe it and have it observed.
